Ben Riekstins joined the British Bobsleigh programme in the summer of 2022 after a recommendation from Olympian and friend, Ben Simons.
Ben has a background in athletics, regularly representing Shropshire and the West Midlands in the 100 and 200m and the long jump.
He works as a personal trainer in Shropshire and has a BSc Hons degree in Sport Science and Personal Training.
Ben has been selected to compete on the Europa Cup circuit in his debut season in bobsleigh.
