WORLD
CHAMPS

A global showpiece, the World Championships take place once a year, except in Olympic years. The event features both bobsleigh and skeleton and is the highlight of the sliding calendar.

This season's World Championships were initially scheduled for Lake Placid in the United States of America but were switched to Altenberg, Germany as a result of the ongoing restrictions surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic.
