Vacancy: Bobsleigh Performance Coach
The BBSA have an exciting opportunity for a Bobsleigh Performance Coach to join the team ahead of the new Olympic cycle.
Reporting to the newly appointed BBSA Head Coach, Matthias Guggenberger, the Bobsleigh Performance Coach will play a leading role in delivering performance across the four years leading to the next Olympic Winter Games in 2030.
The successful candidate will lead World Class Programme athletes in all aspects of on ice coaching during the winter season as we seek to build on the team’s recent medal winning performances at World Cup, World Championship and European Championship level.
They will provide expert leadership, as well as technical support in areas such as equipment development and performance analysis, and they will play a leading role in developing a world-class performance culture where high levels of challenge and support are expected and delivered.
We are seeking candidates with experience of world-class bobsleigh coaching, planning and organisation, preferably at Olympic level, who have the ability to thrive in a high-pressurised environment.
The majority of the role will be spent at worldwide sliding locations, with a requirement to spend short periods of time at the BBSA training facilities and offices in Bath.
