Holly Rust-March
Lead Physiotherapist
Holly Rust-March joined the BBSA as physiotherapist for the British Skeleton team at the beginning of 2021 and has since become the lead physio for both the bobsleigh and skeleton programmes.
Holly is part of the UK Sports Institute but works solely for the BBSA on a full-time basis.
Holly’s role sees her assess and treat athletes at all levels of the programme, as well as working on injury mitigation strategies and optimising athlete health as part of the performance support team. She leads a number of contracted physios throughout different parts of the season and regularly travels as part of the World Cup circuit.
She has worked as a physio since 2009 in a variety of settings, including the National Health Service, semi-professional sport and the military.
Originally from Essex, Holly is a recreational athlete and has competed in half marathons, endurance bike events and a half Ironman.
