David Goodridge is the BBSA's Independent Non-Executive Director for Finance & Governance and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. David has over 30 years experience in financial services, having worked predominantly for large banks and payment networks in the UK and US.
In 2023, he founded Mavidiam, a payments advisory business specialising in providing consultancy and connector services to fintech start-ups and scale-ups. He has extensive Board experience from his time in financial services, as well as Board advisory work for his new venture.
He has had numerous touchpoints with elite sport throughout his career, from project managing the sponsorship launch of the Nationwide Football League and delivering Visa's vision of London 2012 being the first cashless Olympic Games to transforming sports venues across Europe into cashless stadiums while at Mastercard.
David has a degree in Business Studies from Bournemouth University, the Certificate of Professional Achievement in General Management from Kellogg School of Management and recently completed the Board Directors Programme at Henley Business School. He is also an Associate Member of the Non-Executive Directors Association.
