& Events

Membership of the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association brings you closer to Great Britain’s most successful winter sports as our athletes continue their journey to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang.

Becoming a member of the BBSA is a fantastic way to show your support for our GB stars while they look to continue to inspire the nation following a raft of recent successes on the world stage.

For as little as £35 a year (£15 for athlete family members), you can enjoy a range of benefits and take the first step to experiencing the thrill of bobsleigh and skeleton, on and off the ice.

As a member of the BBSA, you’ll receive…

  • An official welcome pack - introductory letter and BBSA pin badge, plus access to the team at Head Office to help answer your questions and ensure you know everything you need to know about the sports

  • The official BBSA members’ newsletter - regular updates from the BBSA camp, including news, stories, features and picture galleries from British Skeleton and British Bobsleigh, plus athlete interviews and the very latest on the full programme of events and activities at the BBSA and the IBSF

  • Opportunities to have a go at both sports - the chance to try your hand at both bobsleigh and skeleton at our revamped push track, with athletes and coaches on hand to provide world-class coaching

  • The chance to meet the athletes - at special members’ events at the University of Bath

  • Member benefits and discounts - access to BBSA partner discounts, including 25% off at Gaucho’s restaurants

  • Invitation to our AGM and members’ social event at the push track – exclusive invitation to the AGM and accompanying social gathering held annually to look back and celebrate the preceding year, including the opportunity to input your views and ideas for the forthcoming 12 months, and indeed for the longer term future of our sport

  • Chance to compete at the official British Championships – the premier sliding event for British competitors, to be held in early 2016, where you’ll have the opportunity slide down a European ice track in either a bobsleigh or on a skeleton sled
