KEENAN DYER-DIXON

Keenan Dyer-Dixon’s route into the British Skeleton programme came via a combination of a speculative email and the Find Your Greatness talent ID campaign.

Keenan was first introduced to sliding sports as a child through his father, Justin Dixon, who was part of the GB Bobsleigh set up from 1998 to 2002. Listening to his dad talk about his experiences encouraged Keenan to pursue his own sporting ambitions and ultimately led to a full circle moment for the family. Keenan contacted the BBSA highlighting his interest in the sports and his athletic abilities and, after initially trying them both at the push track in Bath, was pointed towards skeleton and added to the Find Your Greatness hopefuls partway through the trial process.

Having impressed in the UK, his first taste of the sport on ice came in Lillehammer in late 2025, with further camps following in Altenberg and La Plagne in February 2026, and he is set to compete in Europe and North America this coming season.

Born in Bedford before moving north to Bradford, Keenan’s sporting background centres around rugby union and rugby league. Having competed at an amateur level in the former, he went on to play professionally in the latter, featuring for Leeds Rhinos at both academy and reserve level before playing multiple first-grade games for Keighley Cougars, West Wales Warriors and Cornwall RLFC.
