JENS HULLAH
British Bobsleigh Athlete
About Jens
Jens Hullah competed at the World Championships and on the World Cup circuit during his debut sliding season in 2023/24.
Jens only joined the GB Bobsleigh set up in the summer of 2023 but he was sliding at the top level just two months later.
He made his World Cup bow in the 4-man in Lillehammer before featuring in the 2-man in Sigulda a few days later, finishing 17th pushing pilot Adam Baird in both events.
He earned selection in both disciplines for the showpiece event of the season - the World Championships in Winterberg in February and March 2024 - as he capped a superb maiden campaign with 23rd position in the 2-man with John Stanbridge and an 18th-place finish with Baird in the 4-man.
He ended the year placing 14th in the 4-man in Lake Placid, taking his total number of World Cup appearances to three at three different venues on two different continents.
He featured on the North American Cup, Europa Cup and World Cup circuits during the 2024/25 season, earning selection for the GB2 team at the end of season World Championships, having earlier celebrated winning Junior European Championship gold and EC silver and bronze with Josh Hudson in Sigulda.
Prior to making the switch to bobsleigh, Jens was a rower for nine years, winning medals for Great Britain at both U18 and U23 level in the men’s double and men’s 8 at the European Championships. He was a British Champion no fewer than four times and he set British Universities and Concept 2 British records, as well as celebrating two race wins at the Henley Royal Regatta.
Outside of competitive sport, he has an undergraduate degree in sports coaching.
