About Isabelle
Isabelle Mardle joined the British Skeleton programme through the UK Sport led Find Your Greatness scheme that saw close to 3,000 people apply to start their Olympic journey across a range of different sports.
Having been earmarked for skeleton and made it through a rigorous selection process, she is set to make her international debut this coming season, competing in both Europe and North America
Born in London, Isabelle has lived in Norfolk for the majority of her life and has an extensive sporting background.
A GB gymnast until the age of 13, injury forced a switch to athletics, where she excelled in multi-events. She again competed internationally, representing England in heptathlon on numerous occasions.
Isabelle is currently studying Architecture at Bath Spa University, having transferred from Birmingham City University after completing her first year.
