Ashley (Ash) Morris joined the GB Bobsleigh programme as a pilot ahead of the 2019/20 sliding season.

He began bobsleighing in 2011 as a brakeman for the Royal Marines team. From there, he progressed into the driver's seat, competing at various Inter Service races at the major European tracks. 

Ash was due to race on the Europa Cup circuit in late 2019 but injury delayed his international debut until the EC race in Igls at the end of January 2020.
