A winter Olympian in Curling, Kirsty Drawer joined the Board of the BBSA in 2019, bringing over 20 years of elite sport experience through a career spent with UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport.
During that time she worked directly with a number of NGBs to develop their World Class Programmes, and also led on cross-sport initiatives to provide guidance in areas such as athlete selection, athlete agreements, codes of conduct and dispute resolution.
More recently, Kirsty has been working as an independent consultant to UK Sport and other bodies to review and advise on performance, culture and pathway development.
A trained mediator and trainee mentor, Kirsty also enjoys volunteering on a school outdoor education programme.
