Sophie
Walton
Performance Psychologist
One of the newest members of the team, Sophie Walton joined the BBSA as a trainee Performance Psychologist for British Skeleton in September 2018.
Her role involves supporting athletes, coaches and the high performance system to develop a psychological edge that enables them to deliver their best performance when it matters most.
Sophie combines her tole with British Skeleton with the same position for the British Sailing team as they aim for medal success at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
Sophie's career highlight to date is attending the 2018 Sailing World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, just a month or so before she joined British Skeleton.
