Performance Operations & Data Strategy Lead

Jen Bryant joined the BBSA in 2013 and is currently British Skeleton’s Performance Operations and Data Strategy Lead.

Jen’s first role with the team came immediately after university and included a position as Team Manager on the North American Cup circuit during the 2013/14 season.

She joined the programme on a full-time, permanent basis in 2014 as Performance Analyst and World Cup Team Manager, before taking up her present role in the summer of 2018.

Jen has responsibility for delivering an operational plan that supports the performance programme; managing the placement programme; and ensuring all relevant performance data is collected and fed back to the coaches and management.

She was part of the team that shone in South Korea at the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games in February 2018 and also holds a position on the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation Sports Advisory Committee.

Based out of the BBSA’s headquarters in Bath, Jen travels with the team for much of the race season.

Prior to starting work with British Skeleton, Jen did a placement with Team Bath and worked for Paralympics GB as Performance Analyst and Sport Scientist at London 2012.

Outside of work, Jen is a keen runner and cyclist.
