Christopher Rodrigues became Chairman of the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association in August 2013.

He is also Chairman of the British Council, the Port of London Authority and Openwork and was previously Chair of VisitBritain (the nation’s tourism organisation), a role he held for over a decade from January 2007 until the spring of 2017.

A former Chairman of International Personal Finance and Windsor Leadership, he was also pro-bono Chairman of The Almeida Theatre and on the Council, and a Trustee, of the National Trust, as well as an Executive Committee member of the World Travel and Tourism Council.

Christopher is a graduate of Cambridge University and the Harvard Business School. He rowed (and won) for Cambridge in the 1970 and 1971 Boat Races, is a past-Chairman of Leander Club and is a Steward of Henley Royal Regatta.

Christopher was made a Commander of the British Empire in the 2007 New Year Honours list for services to British business interests and charitable works in the UK and USA.
